About This Tool
Mark sensitive areas with rectangles or a brush. Export removes the underlying text, overlapping image pixels and touched vector graphics through the local PDF engine, then adds a solid black or white fill.
Remaining text stays selectable unless you choose to rasterize all pages. Blur and mosaic are excluded because they retain information. Brush strokes use conservative rectangular envelopes and may remove nearby content.
The new file excludes previous revisions, metadata, attachments, bookmarks, annotations, links and forms. Digital signatures are invalidated. All document processing stays on your device; engine assets may need to load first.
